The First Step

Every journey begins with a first step...well good news...my daughter is off on the journey of life now...OH YEAH!!! The first steps are in...

After weeks of focus by all family members the fear of falling is gone...she can get off a seat and walk at least 10-12 steps. Its an amazing feeling...inexplainable...

Almost 10 months now, she is mashallah growing up nice and fine. 2 teeth out as well, it was a happening weekend to say the least. Last week she would stand up from the seat and scream with fear and cry with a sense of being unsure of what to do next. Its amazing nature how she wanted to get up and take that first step and the next followed automatically. Called all 4 of her grandparents immediately and let them know how it all happened. They deserve the happiness more than anyone.

On a sadder note...10 months have passed so quickly...sigh...so will the upcoming ones...hopefully I can enjoy fatherhood to the full...
