Nadal - Invincible on CLAY

Rafael Nadal is proving to be pretty much AUTOMATIC when it comes to Tennis on Clay. When he beat Federer at Hamburg a few weeks before the French Open, the stats read Nadal 102 out of 104 won on clay. Now that's what you call automatic.

He has continued his class on clay in the French Open at Paris and is just running over his opponents. Nobody has an answer for him at the moment. He beat Jarkko Nieminen 6-1 6-3 6-1. The score looks tough but trust me, it was even worse than that. Nieminen couldn't get his act going while Nadal wouldn't stop his strong cross-court forehands. It was picture perfect.

Honestly speaking, tennis has got a bit boring with the recent dominance of Federer and Nadal and could really use some spice with a few upsets. Even if Federer comes good here and finds a way to beat Nadal, I wouldn't say Tennis has changed. We need some new blood to take over.

Without taking away anything from the 2 current champions. I would say Sampras was a better champion just because he had competition from No.2 to No.15 all year round. There were a more talented variety of players than today's era.

For example, I can't put my fingers on the big serve of today other than Federer himself at times. I can't put my fingers on the best return-on-serve other than Nadal and Federer today. Best clay-court player is Nadal. Its just seems, tennis is revolving around these two names.

Anyway, this post was supposed to be on Nadal. He is keeping fit, keeping strong and constantly letting Federer and the world know who is boss on clay. I would be surprised if he doesn't win the French open for the 4th straight year matching Bjorn Borg.

By the way, he has never lost in Paris. He is 24 of 24 in his matches at the French Open. Impressive isn't it.

And You do the BOOGIE WOOGIE!!!

...and you do the boogie woogie....and turn around...and that's what it's all about....

Nostalgia? Imagine me doing the same with my 2.5 year old daughter....it was the most pleasure-seeking fun thing I have done in a while....I asked her...do you know Boogie Woogie? I was surely surprised when she said yes and knew all the moves....I just couldn't help stand up and do the whole boogie woogie....with her...

Mom has been doing a good job....which she thinks is unappreciated and over looked. I really don't blame her cos I am not really the expressive sort and she knows it too...

Anyway, this is recommended...100%... if you have kids then better do the Boogie Woogie once in a while....if you don't....get some...hehe...and do the Boogie Woogie....
Bottom Line...just do the Boogie Woogie...and turn around....and that's whats it's all about Folks... trust me...there is nothing else that it could be about....its only 'That'...what it's all about...!!!

Monty Spins Out all KIWIs

Monty Panesar is coming of age with each next test match...and is proving his worth with match-winning performances. English team got a win under their belt in the 2nd Test Match against New Zealand, all set up with a brilliant bowling performance from the spinster....with figures of 6 for 37 in the second innings to set up an unlikely victory....

Where Kiwis were pretty much dominant after a breezy 154 from Ross Taylor which reminded many of Martin Crowe and a the routine 5 wicket hall from Vettori, Kiwis looked well set for cruising to victory.

Not to be. Monty turned around and some good pressure applied by all English players...made the Kiwis crack under pressure and wrapped up at 114. That set up England with a much achievable 294.

A good solid start and a much required Andy Strauss century, made that a rather comfortable run-chase ending the test match on the 4th day but it was Monty who made a match out of it for England who were pretty much looking at a 400+ target to chase with Vettori on the last day.

Lots of positives for both teams but Kiwis are unable to come out of the underdogs label by such give-away performances. Test matches are played in sessions and the more sessions you win or lose decides the match. The most consistent throughout wins. Thats what makes it more interesting.

Rock On Dude!!!

The people who know me would not be able to imagine me in a torn up t-shirt, rugged jeans with a few piercings here and there, a bandanna and umm....head banging....

But the people who know me know me....wouldn't be surprised if they ever find me in such a mode....

So as long as I keep the people who know me know me ....away from the people who just know me...I should be fine...and I can do that quite easy these days with some Mizraab music in my car...

Here is what I happened...

On my last trip to KHI, I took (read stole) a few ummm...ok ALL...audio CDs from my sis who wouldn't know anything about the same until she reads this post....as I really needed some music in DXB....managed to find a Mizraab CD as well and one fine day while coming back from work...I put it in....and OH BOY!!! What cool ROCK music ....

I switched the stereo to BASS = MAX and I could feel my car buzzing with each Guitar strumming....loved it....watched the rear-view mirror and could not see the cars at the back as it was all vibrating....just fell in love with my car once again....hehehe....

So for the days of frustration and anguish at work....which was pretty much everyday until recent weeks...I put in MIZRAAB....senseless, raaag-free music....and lots of head-banging....So what if I was dressed up for work...inside I felt like the a punk on a Harley Davidson....

So be it....nobody knows who I am while I am on the road...alone in my car....so everybody who thinks...what a loser....who is banging his head....in the scorching UAE heat....can...say whatever he or she wants...

There are not many people who know me in UAE and the few who do, will not even recognize me if they ever see me....so its ROCK ON DUDE!!! I m planning to get a few more of this NOISE MAKING....CDs....for varieties of frustration....on my next trip to KHI...
