No Shake-ups at Wimbledon to Date

One of the most awaited tennis tournaments of the year is here, Wimbledon. Classy and white-clad players enter the green courts with the queen in the vicinity and sweat of a the greatest tennis champions that ever lived part of the grass. Isn't that a career moment whether you win or not? Just being there.

The tournament kicked off this Monday and
thank God there have been no shake-ups as of now. Federer, Baghdatis, Haas, Kiefer, Ferrero, Hewitt, Ferrer, Djokovic, Safin & Nadal, all through.

On the Women's side also Sharapova, Mauresmo, Serena Williams, Ivanovic, Venus Williams & Sania Mirza all through as well.

Its too early to say who is going to win but I really like Djokovic's game. He lost the second set but he just powered through Darcis after that. He is one the favourites to win this year. Federer has kept it lose and is not showing any pressure but I am sure it will get on to him as the tournament progresses with Rafael Nadal and Djokovic as his biggest threats.

  2. Just as you publish this ..Djokovic went out packing
Marat Safin rolled back the years to shock world number three Novak Djokovic 6-4 7-6 (3) 6-2

and the best game so far was top seeded Ana Ivanovic surviving two match points before beating France's Nathalie Dechy 6-7 7-6 10-8...ufff what a thriller
