I have always rated Andy Murray very high and definitely among the top prospects after the usual 3 of Federer, Nadal & Djokovic. I wrote about him being top five material much before he was even in the top 10.
He has now already questioning the top 3 players and may even make it to the top 3 before end of 2008. He is young and
he is the much needed boost from the British forefront which has been lacking the top tennis talent in recent years with the biggest names being Tim Henman and the now Canadian Greg Rusedski. None of whom got real close to being Number 1.
However, Murray might just be it. He has got the energy to win the big matches. He certainly has the talent and being young lots of time to mature further and become flawless. With the recent greatness & consistency of Federer, a prime example in front of him, I think he is going to trouble the top guns next year for the top spot.
It might be a big thing to say and maybe early to but don't be surprised if you see Murray as No.1 next year.

I cannot understand one thing about Murray - what is his biggest strength as a player and what is his strongest surface.
